A while back, we sent a box of Plegs over to Dean Dickinson in Portland. They had a jam in Glenhaven Park and the Plegs helped keep everyone grinding. Here are some pics that Dean sent over!

I just wanted to say thanks again for hooking up Portland with all of the Plegs! Our jam went great and kids were stoked! And the city officials were even more stoked on the plegs and the event!

Van Hoffman

Looks like Van Homan made it safely back home and is recovering well from his slam.
Here’s a bit of news from Two By Four:

I had a pretty rough slam out at the X-Games this year which lead to a week stay in the hospital. I’m back home now and healing up nice. Thanks to everyone for the support! Before the crash, I did manage to hang out with some of the Two by Four crew and have some good times. Cody, Geoff and Dehart where all out west for the event. Geoff rode in the park competition which, was of course a treat. Check out the pics to share some of the fun.

Jim Bauer over at Odyssey has a bike check up featuring an all G-Sport wheelset; Rollcage rims laced onto a Marmoset front hub and a Ratchet rear hub with a 9t driver and the 3/8″ aluminum axle.

Congratulations to Dakota Roche for making it in the top 5 of this year’s X-Games! He put in a good mix of burliness and tech and we were psyched to see him all the way to the finals.

Van Homan’s X-Games experience didn’t go as well and a skull fracture took him to the hospital. He was in the ICU this weekend but hopefully should be in regular care by now. Get well soon Van!

Van Homan and Dakota Roche are competing in Street for this year’s X-Games. Aside from a nasty spill that Van took towards the end of street practice, both look like they have some moves up their sleeves. Watch the practice video above from Ride BMX. Street prelims happen today and finals tomorrow. Good luck guys!

UPDATE: I guess Van’s spill was much worse than we originally thought. He’s in the hospital right now and out of X-Games. Get well soon Van!
