Homan – Welcome to Dan’s Comp

We are pleased to announce the addition of BMX legend Van Homan to the Dan’s Comp team! As one of the most respected, versatile riders in the history of modern BMX, Van’s skills on a bike, professionalism and attitude are among many reasons that he fits into the big picture at Dan’s Comp. Coming off a major injury in 2012, this edit marks the return of Van to serious street riding. As his new Dan’s team mate, Tony Hamlin puts it, Van is getting “Back on the Horse”. Welcome to Dan’s Comp, Van!

Reeves – Long Beach Park Mix

Here’s Garrett Reeves with a Long Beach Park mix from Vital BMX. Generally, park edits are often filled with the same old ingredients but you can always count on Garrett to spice things up a bit. Moves like front side pedal grind to 180 and fast plant nose wheelies make this a refreshing edit to watch.

Homan – Woodward Tahoe

Van Homan joins Ryan Nyquist, Pat Casey, and Zak Earley at Woodward Tahoe to celebrate the release of Bell’s new helment, the Segment.

Foley – Welcome to the Team

GSport is proud to welcome Dan Foley to the team. Dan is one multi-talented individual – aside from his creative, unique, and insanely dialed bike riding abilities, he’s also a skilled filmer / editor and even a college graduate – he just recently finished up his communications degree with a concentration in media production, all while maintaining a career as a pro bike rider. Not too shabby.

We asked Dan’s long-time friend Terrell Gordy to write a few words about Dan:

I’ve come up with probably 30 different ways to describe Dan, but at the end of the day, I’m pretty psyched to just call Dan my friend. We all know Dan is a badass on a bike, but very few people are able to balance getting a college education and a flourishing BMX career. Mr. Foley made it happen, and I think that speaks volumes of the type of person he is, on and off the bike.

We can’t wait to work more with Dan!

Homan & Hoffman

A video with Van Homan AND Mat Hoffman? This one’s too good to pass up. I’m not sure how often Van rides vert but I bet just dropping in on Hoffman’s 13’6″ ramp is terrifying. Van stepped up though and even snapped some proper tabes during his session with the Condor.
